Basic Tattoo After Care Instructions

STEP 1: Leave the plastic wrap on for 3-4 HOURS.

STEP 2: Remove plastic wrap and wash fresh tattoo with lukewarm water dial-gold antibacterial soap. Make sure while washing your tattoo, you wash it thoroughly to remove all dried blood and dried ink.

STEP 3: After washing your tattoo, PAT DRY with a CLEAN paper towel.

(Do not use rags, shirts, towels)

STEP 4: After you pat dry your tattoo, let it AIR DRY for 5-10 MINUTES.

STEP 5: Apply a very THIN LAYER of Aquaphor on your tattoo.

(Apply evenly in a circular motion)

STEP 6: REPEAT washing, drying, and ointment, 3 TIMES A DAY for the FIRST 3 DAYS.

STEP 7: After the 3 days, continue washing with Dial-Gold Antibacterial soap and REPLACE the Aquaphor with a NON-SCENTED LOTION.

(e.g. Lubriderm Fragrance Free Lotion.)

STEP 8: Repeat Step 7 for at least 21 days. \

STEP 9: You have a fresh beautiful healed tattoo! :)

Advanced Aftercare Instructions

STEP 1: Make sure tattoo is clean.

STEP 2: Apply tattoo armor for 16 to 24 hours, no longer than this.

STEP 3: Remove armor an wash tattoo with dial gold antibacterial soap. Pat dry with clean paper towel.

(Do not use rags, shirts, towels)

STEP 4: Apply Derm-Shield for 3 days.

STEP 5: Remove Derm-Shield under lukewarm water.

STEP 6: Wash with dial gold antibacterial soap.

STEP 7: Pat dry with clean paper towel.

(Do not use rags, shirts, towels)

STEP 8: Apply a thin layer Hustle butter.

STEP 9: Repeat last three steps.

Examples of Tattoo Aftercare Products

Step 1: Wash Your Hands**

• Always touch your piercing with clean hands to prevent infection.

Step 2: Clean with Saline Solution**

• Use NeilMed saline spray or soak the piercing in it.

• Allow the solution to sit for 30–60 seconds.

• Gently pat dry using a clean paper towel (avoid using cloth).

Step 3: Use Dial Gold Soap (Once a Day Maximum)**

• Lather a small amount of soap in your hands.

• Carefully clean around the piercing without twisting or moving it.

• Rinse thoroughly.
