Piercing Aftercare Instructions

(DO NOT DOs ):

DOs:

• Keep the pierced area clean and dry to prevent infection.

• Wash your hands before touching the piercing to avoid introducing bacteria.

• Clean the piercing as directed by your piercer using a saline solution or a mild soap.

• Leave the initial jewelry in place until the piercing has fully healed, which can take several months depending on the location of the piercing.

• Pay attention to any signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or discharge, and seek medical attention if necessary.

• Follow any aftercare instructions provided by your piercer.

DON'Ts:

• Do not touch the piercing with dirty hands or let others touch it.

• Avoid swimming, hot tubs, and other bodies of water until the piercing has healed.

• Do not remove the initial jewelry until the piercing has fully healed.

• Avoid using harsh chemicals or alcohol-based products on the piercing, as they can irritate the skin.

• Do not play with or twist the jewelry, as this can delay healing and cause complications.

• Avoid tight clothing or jewelry that may irritate the piercing.

English Aftercare

- Please keep area clean at all times.

- Only touch piercing with washed hands to avoid bacteria infecting the piercing.

- Wash your piercing with warm water and a mild soap (ex: Dove Sensitive Skin).

- Spray the pierced area 3x a day with saline spray solution.

- You can spray directly on the piercing and/or soak a Q-tip to clean around the area.

- Do not use any alcohol, Bactine, peroxide, or any ointments on the piercing.

- Please allow area to heal before changing initial jewelry, 4-6 months.

- Do not go into the pool or ocean for the next 3 months.

- Por favor, mantenga el área limpia en todo momento.

- Solo toque el piercing con las manos lavadas para evitar que las bacterias infecten el piercing.

- Lave su piercing con agua tibia y un jabón suave (por ejemplo, Dove piel sensible).

- Rocíe el área perforada 3 veces al día con solución salina en aerosol.

- Puede rociar directamente en el piercing y / o remojar un hisopo para limpiar alrededor del área.
